Jeff Twersky
Jeff is a highly experienced trial lawyer. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School in 1983 and has practiced law as a trial lawyer ever since. After graduating from law school, Jeff moved to New Mexico, where he worked for a large law firm, mostly representing large corporations and the State of New Mexico in business disputes and civil rights law suits. From there, Jeff moved to California, where he practiced with several small law firms. His practice in California involved litigating business disputes between corporations, as well as representing injured persons. Because of his experience representing both injured persons and insurance companies, a California insurance company that Jeff had represented in a law suit against another insurance company asked Jeff to develop its claims manual, and to create its legal department, becoming what the President of that insurance company called “our plaintiff’s attorney.” Jeff and his family moved to Washington in 1996, where Jeff joined, and eventually took over managing a small law firm in Snohomish County. That firm represented some of the largest insurance companies in Washington. Jeff also continued to represent injured persons. Jeff’s background working with insurance companies gives him a deep insight into those companies, and he is now using that knowledge and experience to help people who have been injured in collisions and by the negligence of others to recover for their injuries. Since setting out to be a trial attorney, Jeff has succeeded beyond his dreams, having stopped counting when he reached 100 cases tried to juries.
Jeff is married to a wonderful woman who keeps him grounded. Together, they have a teenage daughter, of whom he is extremely proud, and who takes up most of his free time. Jeff has been on the Boards of several arts organizations. He is now on the Board of Directors of the Kirkland Performance Center, and will be President of the Board in 2011.
