After a Collision:
If you find yourself in a car accident, you or someone should call the police to make sure that the accident is noted in a police report
Stay at the scene until the police get there. We find that it makes it much more difficult to deal with insurance companies when no police report has been prepared.
You may have to move your car to allow traffic to move, but find someone who agrees as to the placement of the vehicles before you move it. If you know of any witnesses, take their name, address and phone number.
If you are injured, the police will ask you if you need assistance at the scene. That is your decision. If you are injured, but do not want to go to a hospital emergency room, please go to your doctor to be checked out. Your health should be the highest priority.
If you have any questions, we would be happy to assist you.
