We Have a Very Experienced and Caring Staff
Marlene Augustine C.P.L.S.
is our office manager and a paralegal. Marlene has been with our firm
for 28 years and handles all areas of personal injury. She is a
Certified Legal Support Professional and has been named the Legal
Professional of the Year by both local and state associations. Marlene
is married with three daughters and five wonderful grandchildren.
Marianne Powers
is the lead paralegal in our office. Marianne has been with us for over
20 years working to help injured clients. Marianne works closely with
our clients, attorneys and staff to make sure that their cases are
fully presented to the insurance companies, arbitrators and courts.
Marianne is married to Michael Powers, an independent private
investigator (see below), and they have three perfect children, most of
the time.
Sarita Eckhoff
is our legal assistant who works directly with clients as well as
specializing in working with insurance companies and clients to have
their medical bills paid before settlement. Sarita grew up in Lynnwood
and after high school, obtained her degree in office administration
from Shoreline Community College. Sarita has been with our firm since
April 2002, has four cats and loves traveling to Las Vegas.
Tracy Ames
is our legal assistant who assists in litigation and submitting our
clients' claims to insurance companies. She graduated from Everett High
School in 1992 and decided she first wanted to see the world. Tracy was
a flight attendant with Horizon Airlines and Delta Airlines before she
joined our firm in January 2002. Tracy is now part-time as she is at
home taking care of Emma, her daughter, instead of taking care of
lawyers.
Also assisting us on many cases is an independent licensed private investigator,
Mike Powers
of Washington Legal Works. Mike has been a private investigator for
many years for our firm since he finished his training at Everett
Community College. While Mike works for other law firms as well, his
work for our clients is invaluable because he investigates the
circumstances of how clients are injured, takes statements, finds
witnesses and searches for evidence to support cases. Mike is also a
martial arts specialist, which helps him in dealing with his three
mostly perfect children.
